This app is dedicated to Mina Gbemisola LAAK — our Mina, our angel, who was called home on February 27, 2025. Every feature in this app exists because of her. Every alert it sends is her love continuing to reach people who need it.
What Is Mina AI?
Mina AI is a mobile app (iOS and Android) that gives diabetics in Africa the tools they need to manage their condition safely, intelligently, and with the support of their family.

This is the feature I am most proud of. When your blood sugar drops critically low (below 3.5 mmol/L) or rises dangerously high (above 13.0 mmol/L), Mina AI automatically sends WhatsApp and SMS alerts to up to 3 of your chosen emergency contacts.

3. AI Companion Chat
Ask Mina anything. “Is kenkey safe for me?” “What does my reading of 9.2 mean?” “I feel dizzy — what should I do?” Mina responds in up to 8 languages including English, Twi, Yoruba, French, Hausa, Arabic, Portuguese, and Spanish.
